The hikes are led by volunteer Hike Leaders from the Mt. Tamalpais State Park, (MTSP) volunteer organization, called "Friends of Mt. Tam". Hikes take place every Sat.& Sun. year around. In 1988, FATRAC was created to work with the California Department of Parks and Recreation in developing and constructing a system of trails within the Folsom Lake and Auburn State Recreation Area (ASRA) near Sacramento. FATRAC's purpose was to educate trail users about proper trail stewardship including maintenance and trail building techniques. Our San Mateo County coastline is beautiful and full of great bicycle paths that we can use to inline skate! Summer is here and the time is right for inline skating and improving our fitness. All levels of skaters are welcome. We can also show off our slalom tricks and learn new skills from one another.
